Cyclo have recently undertaken the renovation of a science facilities for a major University in the Sydney region. The work was undertaken within a tight time frame and over the Christmas holidays so pre-planning and seamless execution of the building process was critical.
The refurbishment involved a complete refit of the existing laboratory and training sections of the facility. The scope of works included, demolition, make good, removal of all redundant services, installation of a new 2 hour fire rated wall extension, upgrades to the EWIS and fire sprinkler system, modification of existing medical gases, compressed air and suction lines. There were also modifications to existing fume cabinets required, a new motion sensor wash trough, new joinery cabinets throughout as well as replacement bench tops. Painting and floor covering trades were also managed by Cyclo as part of the project.
