Design + Builder for Hospital Extension.
This NSW hospital facility required a new store room for spare beds to charge and an extra disabled en-suite for a 23 Hour Recovery ward. Cyclo won a competitive tender to manage the full design, certification and project delivery scope.
The project involved extensive fire and smoke separation works to comply with the Building Code of Australia and relevant standards. Situation in the centre of large regional hospital all cranes and concrete had to have a minimum 40 m reach across 2 levels to gain access.
Cyclo managed the entire design process with all stakeholders from concept ideas through to final certification and provision of as-built manuals and building manuals. Managing the bulk our design and drafting in house allowed us to respond in a timely manner to complex requirements within budget.
As per our client request we utilised a significant percentage of local trade and employment input for this project - achieving an estimated 90% local input based on project value.
